- 起跑區方式:為起跑作業順暢,請於規定時間內進入集合區域,半程馬拉松選手若超過集合區域管制時間,將被安排該競賽項目最末之位置起跑。
- 路跑組及健康休閒組不安排實力區分,請選手依大會現場人員指示至起跑區域集合。

- 健康休閒組路線
起點(南島路出發)→右轉南榕大道(東) →右轉永華路二段(順向) →右轉建平路(逆向)→左轉慶平路(逆向)→左轉文平路→右轉平通路→左轉國平路(逆向)→左轉永華路二段(逆向)→ 左轉建平路(逆向)→右轉南島路→終點(市府旁廣場)。
- 報名日期:自110年11月03日12:00起至12月31日23:59止,如報名額滿,報名系統將自動關閉,不再開放系統接受報名。
- 報名方式:全部採網路報名,比賽當天不受理現場報名,報名網址:http://bao-ming.com/。
- 完成報名手續並繳完費用之選手,請自行上網查詢是否完成繳費,以確認報名成功。
- 網路報名時請詳填相關基本資料,以免誤發各項相關報名資訊。
- 選手報名半馬組及路跑組時,請務必選擇最近2年內最佳比賽成績,以作為選手起跑順序編碼安排,謝謝您的合作。
- 報名時請詳加評估自身狀況,報名手續完成者,不論任何理由不得要求更換人名、參賽項目、衣服尺寸等。
- 紀念衣尺寸對照表:如未標示尺寸者一律以L發放。

- 繳費方式
- 報名登錄後需於3日內繳款始完成報名手續,未在期限內進行繳費者,視同放棄。
- 繳費完成後,可至網站查詢確認繳費狀況,完成報名手續後不論任何理由所有報名資料均不得修改。
- 重要選手基本資料例如:比賽項目、選手姓名、身分證字號及出生年月日等,請務必加強確認,倘資料錯誤造成當事人權益受損,概自行負責,不得異議。
- 計時晶片
- 大會將提供選手晶片計時服務,選手在報名時請預繳晶片押金NT$100元。
- 晶片退還方式:
- 當日完賽後請至大會專屬帳篷退還晶片,並領回押金NT$100元整。
- 若完成報名手續而未參賽,或未於賽後當日退還晶片者,請於111年3月18日(星期五)前親至臺南市體育場(臺南市南區體育路10號/臺南市體育處-全民運動事務組)辦理晶片退費事宜,超過期限視同放棄,押金恕不退還。(電話:06-2157691#226顏小姐)。
- 半程馬拉松及路跑組全部採晶片計時,將以大會時間做為成績記錄之依據,晶片成績僅作為個人之參考成績。
- 參加比賽選手者請提前1小時到場,出發時必須經過晶片感應區,否則參賽成績不予承認。競賽成績及排名以大會時間為準,若未依大會規定繫紥晶片,造成無法計時,由選手自行負責。
- 請依各競賽項目時間出發,各組鳴槍起跑後,選手需於10分鐘內出發(通過起跑感應區),延後出發者,因安全因素大會有權限制其出發及不予計算成績。
- 完成全程回終點若無晶片感應成績者(含折返點及檢測站),取消比賽成績。

- 郵寄報到:
- 開放繳交疫苗接種證明:110 年 11 月 03 日(星期三)12:00 起至 111年1 月 7日(星期五)23:59 止,至報名系統登入上傳COVID-19疫苗接種證明(至少1劑),經大會審核無誤後,將會寄出宅配物資,郵寄報到者若未於指定期限內上傳,視為同意改採現場報到,不退郵寄費用,請在報名時注意是否符合郵寄報到資格。
- 團體選擇郵寄報到必須每位成員都要繳交COVID-19 疫苗接種證明,如有其中一名成員未上傳繳交,整團物資都不會寄出,轉為現場報到,請團體報名時務必確認後再進行報名。

- 現場報到:
- 報到資訊:時間:111年3月4日(五)-3月5日(六)09:00-17:00。地點:臺南市政府永華市政中心西側廣場
- 報到時請告知窗口工作人員身分證字號並出示身分證明文件。
- 委託他人代領者,可請受委託人身份證件號碼並提供健康證明及切結書即可代理領取,惟受託者需出示證件以備查驗。
- 如親自報到者未出示四項其中一項健康證明,即取消參賽資格,大會將不會提供號碼布及完賽禮,現場只可領取報名參賽物資,且無法退費。

- 半程馬拉松及路跑組,將派發一枚計時晶片,選手在報名時請預繳晶片押金NT$100元。
- 比賽當日,晶片請務必牢固繫於鞋上,請勿將晶片置於腰袋或肩袋中,以免感應不良。
- 晶片使用之操作方式請選手於賽前詳閱秩序冊晶片使用說明,或是依現場服務人員的指示操作。
- 成績排名一律採大會公布時間(鳴槍)計算,大會依選手抵達終點時之時間作為成績統計之依據(選手自通過起點至終點的晶片時間會在成績證書上註明)。
- 賽道沿途設有晶片檢查點,選手必須從晶片感應地墊上方通過,若無起、終點與各檢查點感應時間紀錄之選手將被取消資格,不予計時,不發給成績證明。
- 請半程馬拉松選手依號碼布編號順序排列出發,切勿爭先恐後,發揮運動家精神,禮讓實力較佳選手優先出發。
- 請依出發時間出發,超過起跑時間10分鐘後出發者,因安全因素大會有權限制其出發及不予計算成績。
- 晶片退還方式:
- 當日完賽後請至大會專屬帳篷退還晶片,並領回押金NT$100元整。

- 半程馬拉松、路跑組獎金:按男、女子組總名次成績頒發,另頒發獎盃乙座,男、女子組總名次錄取者,不再列入分組名次計算,凡得獎金超過新臺幣20,000元以上者,國內選手須依稅法負擔10%之所得稅。(領取獎金選手請於領獎時務必附選手號碼布及身分證或護照影印本。)

- 各優勝名單依大會審查公告後,由大會廣播頒獎。
- 得獎者大會將舉行頒獎儀式,公告名單會以廣播方式唱名,如無法配合大會頒獎儀式者,請於活動結束10:00前持身分證明至獎典組領獎。
- 得獎選手如因個人因素無法配合大會時序領獎,賽後須由大會寄送者,將採貨到付款方式,寄送費用由選手自行負擔(限臺灣境內地址)。
- 領取獎金選手請於領獎時務必附身分證影印本。
- 運動禁藥檢測:
- 選手注意事項:
- 任何參與國手選拔賽之選手均可能被抽測到藥檢。
- 參與國手選拔賽之選手如因治療用途而必須使用禁用清單上之禁用物質或禁用方法時,須向財團法人中華運動禁藥防制基金會申請治療用途豁免(TUE)。( https://www.antidoping.org.tw/tue/)
- 本次賽事TUE申請截止日為 111年1月28日。
- 運動禁藥相關規定請參閱財團法人中華運動禁藥防制基金會官網「公告欄」,單項協會辦理國手選拔賽說明。
- 選手注意事項:
- 成績證書
- 半程馬拉松及路跑組於規定時間內完賽者,請於活動時間內(3月6日上午10:00前),至完跑證明發放處領取,如未領取恕不補發。(若因特殊情況現場無法印發,將於事後補寄)。
- 健康休閒組於規定時間內完賽者,將於終點處發放,可依大會終點顯示成績自行書寫。
- 為鼓勵於規定時間內完成半程馬拉松及路跑組之選手,將發給運動紀念浴巾及紀念獎牌,健康休閒組發給運動紀念毛巾及紀念獎牌,未於規定時間內完成比賽之選手請勿領取。
- 半程馬拉松、路跑組選手,可在賽後憑號碼布領取餐盒一份。
- 以公司、團體名義團體報名者(限一次統一報名者),30人以上將提供一頂帳篷供報名團體使用,因場地限制帳篷數有限,先報名者優先提供(限額50頂,無論人數多寡,僅提供一處休息帳篷)。
- 路線採國際標準丈量,沿途將設置飲水站及補給品。

- 比賽進行中選手借助他人之幫助而獲利者(如乘車、扶持及其他)。
- 不遵從裁判引導者。
- 選手比賽時攜帶寵物、推行娃娃車、滑行直排輪、滑板、滑板車及騎乘腳踏車。
- 報名組別與身分證明資格不符者。
- 違反運動精神和道德(如打架、辱罵裁判及其他)。
- 未配戴大會晶片,無任一檢查站時間。
- 未將號碼布佩掛在胸前者。
- 賽事過程拿取非賽會補給站(旁觀路人)提供之飲料或食物者。
- 賽事過程錯拿其他選手自備飲料者。
- 接受其他選手所提供的飲水、飲料、茶點、海綿。
- 比賽爭議:競賽中各選手不得當場質詢裁判,若與田徑規則有同等意義之註明者,均以裁判為準,不得提出申訴。
- 申訴程序:有關競賽所發生的問題,須於各組成績公佈30分鐘內,向大會提出,同時繳保證金新臺幣3,000元整,由競賽組簽收收執聯;所有申訴以審判委員會之判決為終決,若判決認為無理得沒收其保證金,作為大會賽事基金。
- 衣物保管事項:
- 寄物時間:111年3月6日上午4:30至上午5:30,接受衣物寄物。
- 保管時間:111年3月6日上午4:30至上午10:00,接受衣物保管。
- 領取時間:111年3月6日上午6:30至上午10:00,開放領取衣物。
- 請將衣物交至各指定帳篷區,比賽結束後,憑號碼布至原處領取衣物。
- 貴重物品請自行保管,若有貴重物品遺失,一概不負責。
- 安全事項:
- 請考量自身體能,可於限制時間內完成者,再報名適當組別,安全第一。
- 參加本次活動者請注意身體健康,請慎重考量自我健康狀況,如有不適,請勿逞強,如有心臟、血管、糖尿病等方面病歷者,請勿隱瞞病情並請勿參加,否則,競賽中若發生任何意外事件選手應自行負責,主辦單位不負任何責任。
- 大會裁判、醫師或交通安全管制人員有權視選手體能狀況及道路安全,中止或暫停選手繼續比賽,選手不得有異議。
- 比賽在市區進行,選手必須注意過往車輛與行人,以確保自身安全。
- 空氣品質指標(AQI)達151-200(紅色警戒)以上時,選手須配戴口罩,並提高戒護。
- 比賽前如遇颱風等人力不可抗力之天災或空氣品質指標(AQI)達200(紫色警戒)以上時,由大會以選手安全為考量,有權決定是否取消比賽,參賽選手不得有異議;若因故取消活動,報名費將以5折退還。
- 活動如因疫情因素停辦(或延辦),大會將另行公告相關配套措施,包含退費作業、申請日期及相關規定(依活動官方網站公告為準),如未依公告時程及規定申請退費,將不予受理。
- 晶片使用保管事項:
- 半程馬拉松及路跑組使用晶片計時,請詳閱晶片使用說明,如因個人操作不當造成無成績者,一概不負責。
- 請小心保管號碼布及晶片,遺失恕不再補發;無號碼布者將喪失參賽資格。
- 請隨身攜帶身分證明備查。
- 若完成報名手續而未參賽,或未於賽後當日退還晶片者,請於111年3月18日前親至臺南市體育處(臺南市南區體育路10號-臺南市體育處全民運動事務組)辦理晶片退費事宜,超過期限視同放棄,押金恕不退還。
- 水站布置事宜:
- 水站設置:第一張桌子為自備飲料桌,其餘為大會供應之飲水暨補給品。
- 半程馬拉松菁英選手自備飲料者請於111年3月6日上午5:00前交至裁判組櫃台,並於瓶身明顯標示號碼布、擺放里程數,逾時不候。
- 比賽前如遇颱風等人力不可抗力之天災或空氣品質指標(AQI)達200(紫色警戒)以上時,由大會以選手安全為考量,有權決定是否取消比賽,參賽選手不得有異議;若因故取消活動,報名費將以5折退還。
- 大會有權將此項比賽之錄影、相片及成績於世界各地播放、展出、登錄於本賽會網站與市府刊物上暨參賽者必須同意肖像與成績,用於相關比賽之宣傳與播放活動上。
- 繳費完成後,若因故無法參加,將按照以下退費機制退費:

2. 特殊狀況:物資寄出後,選手如遇天然或人為災害、交通中斷、兵役(點閱、教召等)、傷病、妊娠、本人訂/結婚或一等親內親屬喪葬,請提供證明文件後,退還報名費之50%,晶片押金退還方式請參照本章程第十條之第四項計時晶片第二款晶片退還方式辦理。110年12月10日前 有加購接駁車者,接駁車資將全額退費 110年12月11日起 不再受理接駁車退費手續 - 退費流程:

- 參賽選手應依大會路線方向及各路段管制時間內前進並遵守交通指揮及道路交通法規、標誌、標線、號誌之規定。來回路程請遵守交通路況及注意本身安全。
- 報名表內各欄請務必詳實填寫,如有錯漏導致喪失保險效力,應自行負責。
- 請選手檢視自已當日狀況量力而為,並於活動前一日做充足的睡眠及當日跑步前2個鐘頭吃早餐。
- 本活動提供公共意外險,倘若於競賽活動中發生任何意外,依照保險合約辦理,不得異議。(所有細節依投保公司之保險契約為準)
- 公共意外險注意事項:本會在現場設有必要的緊急醫療救護,對於本身疾患引起之病症不在承保範圍內,公共意外險只承保因意外所受之傷害做理賠。大會為本次活動針對所有參賽者投保每人新臺幣500萬元之公共意外險(細節依投保公司之保險契約為準)。
- 公共意外險承保範圍:被保險人因在保險期間內發生下列意外事故所致第三人體傷、死亡或第三人財物損害,依法應負賠償責任,而受賠償請求時,保險公司對被保險人負賠償之責。本案依中華民國104年11月2日內政部研訂發文之字號內授消字第 1040823601 號之規定投保。
- 承保範圍:被保險人因為在保險期間內發生下列意外事故所致第三人體傷、死亡或第三人財物損害,依法應負賠償責任,而受賠償請求時,本活動委託辦理之保險公司對被保險人負賠償之責:
- 被保險人或工作人員,在本次比賽保險單載明之比賽場地及活動期間內發生之意外事故。
- 被保險人在競賽路線之建築物、通道、機器或其他工作物所發生之意外事故。
- 特別不保事項:
- 個人疾病導致運動傷害。
- 因個人體質或因自身心血管所致之症狀,例如休克、心臟病、熱衰竭、中暑、高山症、癲癇、脫水等。
- 選手如遇與跟第二項所述之疾病之病史,建議選手慎重考慮自身安全,自行加保個人人身醫療及意外保險。大會不為選手進行任何賽前健康評估與檢查,由選手自行承擔參賽風險。
- 如您曾發生過以下病況及有以下疾病狀況,屬猝死高危險群,請諮詢醫師專業的判斷及請勿勉強參加:不明原因的胸部不適(胸悶、胸痛)、不明原因的呼吸困難、不明原因頭暈、突然失去知覺、高血壓、心臟病、腎功能異常、糖尿病、高血脂、家族心臟病史、癲癇等。

- 報名前請詳閱活動聲明,了解並同意大會為執行報名作業、製作參賽選手所需編號、晶片及其他參賽權益等事宜,並使用報名時所提供「資料」包括個人資料例如姓名、生日、年齡、身分證字號、地址、照片、電話等資訊。
- 在前開報名作業及取得相關競賽活動過程或結果的資訊及照片事項前提下,會將這些「資料」分享給大會合作廠商俾利其執行相關服務作業。同意主辦單位及主要贊助單位為了行銷本活動以及可能需求的參賽權益目的範圍內,在賽中或賽後蒐集、使用,並透過網頁、合作服務廠商渠道平臺及各種媒體工具,公開、播放、展示比賽活動過程中取的照片、參賽者的賽事動態追蹤紀錄與影片、及賽後的競賽成績(包括參賽人員姓名、參賽組別、完賽時間) (合稱為「賽事資訊」)。
- 報名時所提供的資料及最終比賽成績等個資將提供體育署匯入i運動資訊平台儲存使用。
- 最終比賽結果及部分賽事資訊將匯入大會選手成績資料庫,並透過大會配合之報名網站及大會合作服務廠商平臺公布提供大眾公開查詢。
- 參賽選手有需要索取個人賽事照片者,得洽詢大會合作服務廠商。

- Window for registration: From 12:00 on Nov. 5, 2021 to 23:59 on Nov. 30, 2021. The registration system closes automatically once the registration is full, and the system will not be reopened to accept additional registrations.
- Registration method: All registrations must be completed via the registration website (http://bao-ming.com/). On-site registration will not be accepted on the day of the race.
- Participants who have completed registration and paid the fees must go online and verify that the transaction is completed in order to confirm that the registration is successful.
- When registering online, please fill out your basic information in detail to prevent errors.
- Participants registering for the half marathon and the 10K division must provide their best race time from the past two years. This information will be used to determine the starting order.
- When registering for the race, please evaluate your physical condition. Participants who have completed the registration process cannot later request changes to their name, race type, shirt size, or other information.

- Payment method
- 7-Eleven ibon payment procedure (participants need to pay an NT$30 handling fee for every transaction under NT$20,000)

*Please note: EBBaoming will display under the transaction description when you make the payment using your credit card. - Payment must be made within 3 days of registration to complete the registration process. Those who do not pay within the time limit are deemed as forfeiting their race participation.
- After the payment is completed, you should visit the marathon website to confirm your payment status. Participants who have completed the registration process cannot request to change any registration information, regardless of the reason.
- Be sure to double check important basic information, such as race division, name, national ID, date of birth, etc. If a participant’s rights and interests are limited due to providing inaccurate information, the participant is solely responsible for the limitation. Objections are not permitted.
- Timing Chip:
- The organizer will provide runners with a timing chip ; a deposit of NT$100 for the chip shall be paid in advance during registration.
- Returning Timing Chip:
- Return the timing chip to the designated tent to receive a refund of the NT$100 deposit.
- If a participant registers for the race but does not participate or does not return the timing chip on the day of the race, the timing chip must be taken to the Tainan Municipal Stadium (No. 10 Tiyu Rd. South District, Tainan City—Tainan City Department of Sports Event Section) before Friday, March 18, 2022. Failure to return the chip by the required time will be treated as a non-return, and the individual's deposit will not be refunded. (For any queries, please contact Ms. Yan on (06) 215-7691 ext. 226)
- A timing chip will be used to track Half Marathon Division and 10K Division runners’ times. All runners’ official times will be calculated by the organizer, the electronic record on the timing chip is only for personal record reference.
- Runners must arrive 1 hour prior to the start of the race. Runners must run over the timing chip sensor mats at each checkpoint or the runner’s time will not be recognized. All runners’ official times and placements will be calculated by the organizer. Runners are solely responsible for the missing electronic records if the timing chip is not fasten according to the instructions given by the organizer.
- Please start the race according to the designated starting time. For safety reasons, runners must run pass the starting line sensor mats within 10 minutes after the starter pistol sounded off. Runner tries to start later than 10 minutes after the designated start time, the organizer reserves the right to disqualify said runner and not record his/her running time.
- If a runner finishes the entire race but has missing electronic records (including return point or any of the checkpoints), the runner will be disqualified.

- How to Check-in
- By post:
- Proof of vaccination submission opens on Friday, November 5 at 10:00 and closes on Friday, December 31, 2021 at 23:59. Please log in to the entry system to upload your proof of COVID-19 vaccination (at least 1 jab). Once the form is verified, the participation kit will be delivered to your home address. Postal applicants who fail to upload such proof within the specified timeframe will be deemed to have agreed to register on-site instead and the postal handling fee will not be refunded. Please ensure your eligibility when selecting check-in by post.
- For groups choosing to check-in by post, the proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required for each member of the group. If one of the members fails to submit such proof, the participation kits for the entire group will not be dispatched and the check-in option will be changed to on-site. Please make sure that you are aware of this requirement before registering.

- Runners of the Half Marathon and 10K Divisions will receive a timing chip. Participants will pay a NT$100 deposit for the chip when applying to the race.
- Fasten the timing chip securely to the runner's shoe on the day of the race; please do not place the chip inside a fanny pack or shoulder bag, as this will cause problems with the sensor.
- To use the timing chip, please read the instructions in the manual carefully before the competition, or follow the instructions given to you on the day of the race by one of our personnel.
- All runners’ official times and placements will be calculated as starting from the designated race start time announced by the organizer (and as marked by the starter pistol) and ending when the runner crosses the finish line (runner’s times calculated from the moment they cross the starting line to the moment they cross the finish line will be indicated on their certificates).
- Along the course route, there will be checkpoints, and runners must run over the sensor mats at each checkpoint. If a runner is missing any electronic record—whether from the starting line, finish line, or any of the checkpoints—the runner will be disqualified and will not receive a time record or a certificate.
- When starting the race, runners of the Half Marathon Division must arrange themselves according to the numbers on their bibs. We request that each runner observe good sportsmanship and yield to faster runners when starting.
- Please start the race according to the designated starting time. For safety reasons, if a runner attempts to start later than 10 minutes after the designated start time, the organizer reserves the right to disqualify said runner and not record his/her running time.
- Return Timing Chip:
- Return the timing chip to the designated tent to receive a refund of the NT$100 deposit.

For Taiwanese winners whose prize money is in excess of NT$20,000, a 10% tax will be deducted in accordance with the national tax code. - To encourage senior citizen participants, the first 10 male finishers over 70 years old and the first 10 female finishers over 60 years old from both the Half Marathon Division and the Healthy Run Division will be awarded a trophy and a gift, regardless of the number of participants.
- The 10K Division age group placement has no prize money; only trophies and gifts will be awarded.
- Healthy Run Division participants' times will not be tracked, and no prizes will be awarded.
- Awards ceremony times:
- Half Marathon Division: 9:00 AM on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the event venue main stage.
- 10K Division: 8:00 AM on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the event venue main stage.
- After reviewing the list of winners, the organizer will announce the results over the on-site PA system.
- A ceremony will be held for the winners of the race, and the winners’ names will be announced over the PA system. For those who unable to receive the prize at the awards ceremony, please make your collection before 10:00 AM by showing your ID to the Awards Ceremony Organizing Section.
- If a runner cannot stay for the award ceremony, the organizer will send the award via delivery service (collect on delivery). The parcel recipient is responsible for the delivery fee (delivery only available for addresses in Taiwan).
- A photocopy of ID must be attached for runners receiving monetary prize.
- Drug Testing:
- Runners participating in national trials may be selected for drug testing.
- Runners participating in national trials who are required, as part of medical treatment, to use prohibited substances or methods must apply for a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) from the Chinese Taipei Anti-Doping Agency (CTADA). (https://www.antidoping.org.tw/tue/)
- For this event, the deadline for TUE applications is January 28, 2022.

- Record Certificates
- Participants in the Half Marathon and the 10K Division who finish within the designated time must go to the certificate claiming area to receive their certificate before 10:00 AM on March 6. We are unable to provide certificates that are not claimed before this time. (If, due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to print or give out a certificate at the time, the certificate will be mailed to the runner at a later date.)
- Healthy Run Division participants who finish within the designated time limit can receive a certificate at the finish line. Participants can record their own time as displayed at the finish line.
- To encourage half marathon runners who finished within the designated time, half marathon runners who do so will each receive a commemorative large towel and medal. Participants in the 10K Division and the Healthy Run Division will receive a commemorative sport towel and medal. Unfortunately, runners who do not finish within the allotted time will not receive a commemorative souvenir.
- Half marathon and 10K runners may present their bib at the end of the race to receive a boxed meal.
- Groups of more than 30 people who register under a company or group name (applicable only to those who register at the same time) will be provided with a tent per group. Because the area has limited space, a maximum of 50 tents are available, and they will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis.
- The route is measured by international-standard measurements. Water stations and supplies will be provided along the route.

- Receiving assistance from another person during the race in order to gain advantage (e.g., riding in a car, or being carried by another person, etc.)

- Carrying pets, pushing baby strollers, wearing inline skates, or riding skateboards or bicycles during the race.
- Registering for the wrong age group (age group does not match runner's ID).
- Displaying poor sportsmanship and violating race ethics (e.g., fighting, verbally abusing the referees or race staff, etc.)
- Not wearing the timing chip, or if the time is missing from any of the checkpoints.

- Accepting food or drink from persons other than the race supply stations.
- Taking other runners’ drinks, even by mistake.

- Competition disputes: While competing, runners cannot question referees’ decisions. If the track and field rules stipulate different decisions for the same situation, the referee’s decision shall prevail, and runners cannot appeal.
- Appeal procedures: Any problems relating to the competition must be raised with the organizer within 30 minutes of the announcement of the race results for each age group. The runner registering the complaint must pay a deposit of NT$3,000 and get a receipt from the Competition Section. All appeals are decided by the judge committee, and its decision is final. If the committee decides that the appeal is unreasonable, the runner’s deposit will not be returned, and it will be treated as part of the race organizer’s funds.
- Clothes storage:
- Time period for putting clothes in storage: March 6, 2022, from 4:30 AM to 5:30 AM. At this time, runners can deposit their clothes.
- Time period for storing clothes: March 6, 2022, from 4:30 AM to 10:00 AM. During this time, we will store runners' clothes.
- Time period for picking up clothes: March 6, 2022, from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM. During this time, runners can collect their clothes.
- Please hand over your clothes at your designated tent area. After the race, please present your bib to collect your clothes.
- Runners must arrange storage for valuable items. We accept no responsibility for the loss of valuable items.
- Safety guidelines:
- When considering the division in which you should register, please also consider your physical ability and your ability to finish the race within the designated time limit. Safety is our chief concern.
- We ask participants in this event to protect their health and carefully consider their physical condition. If a person has any health condition that makes him or her unsuitable for participation, we ask that person to withdraw from the race and not attempt to exceed limits. Such persons include anyone with a history of heart disease, blood vessel problems, diabetes, etc. Hiding a medical condition to participate is forbidden, and anyone who does so will bear full responsibility for any problems that occur during the race. The organizer accepts no responsibility for such problems.
- The referees, doctors, and traffic officers reserve the right to stop or temporarily stop a runner from continuing in the race, without objection from the runner, after assessing the runner's physical condition or the road safety conditions.
- As the race will take place in the city, runners must be aware of vehicles and pedestrians to maintain safety.
- When the air quality index (AQI) is above 151-200 (red status), the organizer will provide gauze masks to participants on request and will pay close attention to the runners’ conditions.
- Before the race, if the location meets with a typhoon or other natural disaster, or if the AQI reaches above 200 (purple status), the race organizer will take the runners' safety into consideration and reserve the right to decide whether to cancel the race. Runners cannot object to the organizer's decision. If the event is canceled, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.
- If the event is canceled or delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event organizer will announce relevant measures, including refunding process, refund application date, and relevant rules, on the official event website. Refund applications must be submitted by the announced deadline, and late submissions will not be accepted.
- Notes regarding the use and care of the timing chip:
- A timing chip will be used to track Half Marathon Division and 10K Division runners’ times. Please read the instructions carefully. We do not accept responsibility for any incidents where an individual's improper use of the timing chip results in failing to receive a time.
- Please take proper care of the bib and timing chip. If either of these items is lost or misplaced, a replacement will not be provided. Anyone running without a bib will be disqualified.
- Please carry a form of ID on your person and keep it ready for checking.
- If a participant registers for the race but does not participate in the race or does not return the timing chip on the day of the race, the timing chip must be taken to the Tainan City Department of Sports (No. 10 Tiyu Rd. South District, Tainan City—Tainan City Department of Sports Event Section) before March 18, 2022. Failure to return the timing chip by the required time will be treated as a non-return, and the individual's deposit will not be refunded.
- Water station setup:
- Water station arrangements: The first table is for drinks prepared by the individual runners, and other tables are for water and supplies provided by the organizer.
- Half marathon runners who prepare their own drinks must hand in their drinks at the referee counter before 5:00 AM on March 6, 2022. All bottles must be clearly labeled with the runner's bib number and intended placement distance. This service will not be provided to anyone who arrives after the hand in time.
- Before the race, if the location meets with a typhoon or other natural disaster, or if the AQI reaches above 200 (purple status), the race organizer will take the runners' safety into consideration and reserve the right to decide whether to cancel the race. Runners cannot object to the organizer's decision. If the event is canceled, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.
- The event organizer reserves the right to record, film, and photograph this event and to broadcast, exhibit, or otherwise display photographs and results from the event in any place around the world, on the race's official website and in Tainan City publications, and in promotional materials and broadcasts for related competitions and events. Runners must agree to allow the use of their image and competition results.
- If an individual is unable to participate in the event after the fees are paid, the fees will be refunded in accordance with the following rules:

Refund of the NT$100 timing chip deposit and the full registration fee. NT$100 administration fee will be deducted from the refund.
From Dec. 2, 2021
to Feb. 4, 2022
Cancelation or request for the refund before the check-in items are put in production or sent to the runner: Refund of the NT$100 timing chip deposit and 60% of the registration fee. The remaining 40% is the administration fee.
From Feb. 5, 2022
to Feb. 27, 2022
1. Normal circumstances: Once the check-in items are sent to the runner, the runner will not be able to apply for a refund.
2. Special circumstances: If the runner encounters a natural or man-made disaster, transportation shutdown, military service (muster, recall, etc.), illness, pregnancy, personal engagement/wedding, or the death/funeral of a first-degree relative, he or she may provide documents of proof to receive a refund of 50% of the registration fee. For information on returning the timing chip, please see Subparagraph 2, Paragraph 4, Article 10 Return Timing Chip.
On and before Dec. 1, 2021
The shuttle fee will be fully refunded to runners that purchased the shuttle service.
From Dec. 2, 2021 onwards
No shuttle refund requests will be accepted.
- Refund Procedure:
If you wish to apply for a refund after the registration deadline has passed, please go to https://forms.gle/XZBRcMHwMiGb52jr5 and submit your request for the refund. You must provide the name of the participant who registered for the competition, participating division (if you registered with a group, please indicate the name of the team), order number, contact phone number, and bank information for the refund (including bank account name, bank code, and account number). If the information provided by the refund applicant matches the race participant’s information, the refund will be processed within 2 weeks. - Participants must follow the routes planned by the organizer, adhere to the designated times, and obey traffic control personnel, traffic regulations, signs, and markings. Please pay attention to traffic conditions and be careful.
- Please provide the correct information on the registration form. You will be fully responsible for any mistakes or omissions that result in your insurance being voided.
- Runners must evaluate and be aware of their physical condition on the day of the race. Please be sure to get ample sleep the day before the race and have breakfast two hours before running on the day of the race.
- This event provides public liability insurance. If an accident occurs during the race, all insurance shall be processed according to the insurance policy provided by the organizer, without objection.
(All details are subject to the insurance contract with the insurer.)- Public liability insurance coverage: The organizer will provide emergency medical care on the day of the race. Symptoms caused by an individual's prior illnesses will not be covered by the insurance, and the public liability insurance only bears compensation for injuries caused by accidents. The event organizers have purchased a public liability insurance policy that covers up to NT$5,000,000 per runner. (All details are subject to the insurance contract with the insurer.)
- Coverage of the public liability insurance: When the insured is found to be liable for compensation for injury, death, or third-party property damage caused by the following accidents during the insurance period, the company shall be liable for compensation of the insured in accordance with the law: The insurance is in accordance with the provisions of Nei Shou Siao Zih No. 1040823601 formulated and issued by the Ministry of the Interior, R.O.C. on November 2, 2015.
- Coverage: When the insured is found to be liable for compensation for injury, death, or third-party property damage caused by the following accidents during the insurance period, the insurance company commissioned by the event organizer shall be liable for compensation of the insured in accordance with the law::
- Accidents involving the insured or the race staff on the event ground during the event period as specified on the insurance policy.
- Accidents involving the insured due to buildings, passageways, machinery, or other objects on the race route.
- Items not covered by insurance:
- Sports injuries resulting from personal illness.
- Symptoms caused by the participant’s personal constitution or cardiovascular condition, such as shock, heart issues, diabetes, heat exhaustion, heat stroke, altitude sickness, epilepsy, dehydration, etc.
- If a participant has a medical history of any illness outlined in paragraph 2, we recommend that the participant carefully consider the personal safety risk and obtain additional personal medical and accident insurance. The organizer will not provide health assessment for the runners before the race. Runners are solely responsible for the risk of running in the race.
- Please consult a doctor, and do not force yourself to participate in the event if you have or used to have the following diseases, as you have a high-risk for cardiac arrest: unexplained chest discomfort (chest tightness, chest pain), unexplained dyspnea, unexplained dizziness, sudden loss of consciousness, hypertension, heart disease, renal dysfunction, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, family history of heart disease, epilepsy, etc.
- Coverage: When the insured is found to be liable for compensation for injury, death, or third-party property damage caused by the following accidents during the insurance period, the insurance company commissioned by the event organizer shall be liable for compensation of the insured in accordance with the law::
Disclaimer:Participants shall not ask the organizer or other parties involved in the event for any form of compensation for any injury, loss of property, or death caused by any reason.
- Be sure to read the event statement before applying to the race. The runner understands and agrees to allow the event organizer to use all of the information provided by the runner during registration, including personal information such as name, birthdate, age, ID number, address, photo, telephone, etc., to carry out the registration process, assign runner numbers, provide timing chips, and perform other matters regarding the race.
- Within the scope of the aforementioned registration process, information regarding the event and the results of the race and photos are provided to supporting suppliers so they may provide their services. The runner also agrees to allow the organizer and the main sponsors to collect and use runner information during or after the race for promoting the event and to uphold the rights of the runner to participate in the race. The runner further agrees to allow the organizer to publish, play, and showcase photos, runner tracking records, videos, and race results, including runner name, race category, and finishing time (collectively known as race information) obtained during the race on its websites and service suppliers’ platforms, and in other media.
- Information provided by the runners and the results of the race will be provided to the Sports Administration for uploading to the iSports information platform and saving in a database.
- The final results of the race and a portion of the race information will be imported to the race results database. The data will be made available for inquiry via the registration website to runners and service platforms working with the event.
- If a runner wants to request copies of photos taken during the race, he or she must contact the photo company directly.
- Do not apply to participate in the race if you do not agree to share the aforementioned information.
Once a runner has registered for the race, the runner is considered to have agreed to all the regulations set forth in the Competition Rules.

For any matters not covered in the Competition Rules, the organizer will amend the rules and promulgate the amendments.
